About the Role

As an Australian Payroll and Accounts Payable Officer, you directly report to the Australian-based Executive Director and Company Accountant, will manage accounts payable, ensure accurate payroll administration, and assist in monthly financial reporting. Responsibilities include processing costs into MYOB, maintaining a filing system, reconciling funds, and coordinating with Philippine staff. You will summarize financial data, handle payroll inquiries, and support administrative tasks to ensure efficient financial operations and compliance with company standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all costs are processed into MYOB.
    • Processing expenses. 
    • Domestic stock.
    • Import Stock.
  • Maintaining the filing system.
  • Ensuring invoices are approved and filed.
  • Assist in Funds collection Reconciliation.
  • Load weekly payment file.
  • Coordinating with Philippine Staff.
  • Assisting with various administrative requirements.
  • Summarizing Financial data from:
    • Merchandise Department- Excell.
    • Online Team- Excell.
    • Customer Service Team- Gorgias Dashboard.
    • Wholesale Department- Excell.
  • Reviewing and processing Payroll (fortnightly for Australian staff and monthly for Philippine staff).
  • Liaising with staff regarding payroll inquiries.
  • Checking and processing all monthly bonus applications.
  • Loading payroll, ready for review by Supervisor.
  • Conducting other payroll administrative tasks.
 

Position Prerequisites

  • At least 3-5 years of working experience in a similar position/role.
  • Experience and familiarity with Australian Payroll is required.
  • Have worked with Australian clients.
  • Experience with MYOB is essential, but familiarity with other financial software would be beneficial.
  • Excellent Excel skills and can demonstrate examples of reviewing and loading payroll in payroll programs.
