About the Role
Reporting to an Australian-based Development Team Manager, you will be involved in leading project implementations, guiding and mentoring junior team members, translating UX-designed wireframes into production-ready HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and integrating third-party APIs and platforms. Additionally, you will contribute to a variety of projects catering to a diverse range of clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate HTML templates and develop .NET components in Optimizely for bespoke and CMS-driven web applications.
- Implement content management, application functionality, and integration requirements.
- Work within an agile development process, collaborating closely with the delivery team.
- Design and execute A/B tests and multivariate experiments to improve website conversion rates.
- Analyze data and make data-driven decisions to enhance website functionality and achieve business objectives.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver optimal solutions.
- Work across the website in aiding the development, and when needed, troubleshooting.
- Collaborate within the team and have the ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external members.
- Give your input for digital strategies of the project whilst working with the teams and providing reports.
- Design and implement an efficient front-end code to run on the website.
- Collaborate closely with the developers and product management team to understand and communicate progress.
Position Prerequisites
- At least 2-3 years of specific experience in developing Content Management Solutions (Optimizely/Episerver, Kinetco, Sitecore or Drupal).
- At least 7+ years of experience in front-end development.
- At least 2 years of experience leading a team of developers.
- Demonstrated strong development experience with HTML and CSS.
- Demonstrated experience with Vue.js and React.js, preferably with TypeScript.
- Demonstrated experience developing browser-compliant code.
- Demonstrated experience integrating with RESTful and third-party APIs.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Docker.
Skills
- Excellent experience and skills in architecting enterprise-level applications, using SOLID principles, separation of concerns and domain-driven design.
- A can-do attitude with high personal motivation and a fast learner.
- Great communication and leadership skills, strong team player with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Demonstrates outstanding personal organization and adept time management skills.
- Excellent time management skills with discipline to deadlines.
- Ability to remain calm and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, ideally with a digital agency environment.
- Ability to write and debug clean and functional vanilla JavaScript.
- Demonstrated experience developing browser-compliant code.
- Demonstrated experience integrating with RESTful and third-party APIs.
- A strong understanding of SEO compliant mark-up and best practices.
- A strong understanding of Accessibility standards.
- Git mastery.
- Familiarity with developing in a Windows environment.
